Congratulations to Brandon, aka Cavernkiller as he now takes the reigns as Senator. A veteran member to Mos Eadem, his skills, knowledge and leadership will do much to help us down our new paths. In our general forum you will find a description of our newest ranking system. These ranks involved a restructuring of the entire guild, now comprised of 4 distinct branches. The Senate will continue to oversee the overall guild direction and health. The Gladius will now lead our PvP branch, equalled by the Tribune in our Raid branch. The Legatus will now be focused on leveling our members and heading them in the proper direction towards their end game goals. Ranks have been reset and yours should be current. Speak with a Senator, or leaders of a specific branch to find out how to move up so you can get the most from being a member of MEK. There are leadership positions available, stay active in the forums, vent, guild chat, and get to know the members of your branch. Lets all help each other get to the next level.

Gone too long now without being addressed, the contributions of Tanzillum/ElDiablo deserve thanking. The reason this comes up now, as many already know, is he has stepped down from the Senate. Being one of the first 3 to wear the MEK tag, this long time member has been a founder and Senator in multiple realms. His efforts have been appreciated, and his mark certainly made. He will still be ingame from time to time, but has stepped down allowing an active member to help steer the ship. That brings us to Nancy. With unanimous approval, the long standing veteran Legatus has been promoted to the Senate. All rights and priviledges are already active, and the Senate again has 7 members. I would like to thank her for answering the call. While serving on an MEK Senate comes with great priviledge and power, it also comes with great responsibility and burden. Im proud to announce that we have exceeded 300 members and our active online count is growing day by day. Soon our large group of level 60+ members will be hitting the level 70 mark. With growth comes change and as we are a leveling guild, we will soon be branching off into other specialties, such as raiding and battlegrounds. I encourage all of our members to begin utilizing the forums so we can begin to plan. Mos Eadem Knights are beginning to become one of the more recognized guilds in the game along with the other established guilds. Im glad to know that our guild has been drama free, and filled with good people that have a good team effort. As we grow i encourage all of you to share that team spirit, help one another with those quests and those instances to help us grow stronger as we reach end game status. With the growing membership comes a need for more leaders. I am pleased to announce Eilis and Cheezalon have been selected to fill that void. They now hold an equal share in ensuring the success and development of the Mos Eadem Knights. As well they are now tasked with keeping the ranks and guild chat free of asshattedness and smacktardom. Attention MEK. We will be practicing for raids very soon. Our first raid will be ZG in STV. It is a 10 man instance and currently Gibby is drawing up the attack plans for the bosses so we know what to do and how not to screw up. ZG is gonna just be a start. Soon we'll be able to move on to other better raids. So as of now we have 8 spots open. Send in game mail to choirboy or eilis letting us know if you are interested. Greetings MEKers, I am pleased to announce that Duke Cody/Diah of MEK-EQ2 PvP has added yet another perk to our Communities many benefits. Below is featured the lovely Elite Knight Bevv of MEK-EQ2 PvP, showing off this latest perk. Duke Cody has secured for MEK a cheap and reliable way to provide MEK hats for ALL chapters of our global Community. These hats will be sold via the MEK Store (which opens shortly), and will be priced at cost and shipping and handling. Currently the hats will run around 10 bucks a piece! CHEAP! They will feature the name of the chapter, and that chapters main symbol featured in their Chapter Crest. The pricing is by stitch, so we will be keeping them as simple as possible to keep the price down. My fellow Knights of Mos Eadem, it is again a true honor to address you as Consul. Being part of MEK comes with certain perks and rewards. One of those perks is this fine website we are priviledge to navigate, and with that comes the dedication and graphic design of MEK Founder Cannar. Due to his work and dedication I have the honor of giving an award, the Consul's Honor. This award goes out to members of Mos Eadem with whom the Consul is "Impressed". There are no guidelines or requirements, only that the recipient having done something above and beyond the call of Mos Eadem. That truely defines it for me, "Above and Beyond" what is expected of a member in good standing. Over the last year, the Mos Eadem Knights have gone through many phases, some more prosperous than others. Over the last 6 months, our membership has exploded. The skill and commitment shown by the members is truely admirable. With all of our successes, our growth, our achievements, one member has truely distanced himself from the pack. That is why today, it is my humble honor to award John (Chaosrecords, Genagoddess, etc etc) the first Consul's Honor. He has shown complete allegiance sacrificing time, gold and psyche for the betterment of MEK. With over 200 members, I can't think of one more deserving of this initial declaration. In time more will be awarded but not today, as John has truely proven himself worthy to be singled out. I would like to personally extend my thanks for his commitment and efforts. It hasn't gone unnoticed. Congratulations.

'Pie Seeker April/07' ColdBoot ColdBoot was elected the April/07 'Pie Seeker' of MEK. He has been around for the last one and a half years contributing to MEK-EQ2 and to the Global MEK Community as a whole. He is MEK's head programmer for our Web Site Development team, a Forum Red Name and TeamSpeak Admin, as well as a Father of three rug rats, and husband to a Lady. When Xon left us high and dry, Coldboot steped up with his open source moisturization!. ColdBoot was nominated for April, because it was the month of his most recent accomplishment for MEK, the most recent Server Transfer. It was the fifth server transfer sence our Web Site came into being and ColdBoot's second as Lead Programer of MEK. Last but not least, everyone supported this nomination, and thus Lady Leerah did not have to cry. All Hail Duke Coldboot, 'Pie Seeker' of March/07.

Today I am proud to announce a new way to view the guild banks. Using various scripts and mods from Curse Gaming including GuildTools 3.0 Ive been able to craft a guild roster and 3 banks readable via HTML! Also in testing is the Mail Viewing system where we can see whats incoming and outgoing in the guild mailboxes. This is not 100% live as of yet due to some SSL and the inability to run automated PHP scripts on my own personal server. I am hoping that soon we can incorporate this into our own MEK website as things are being worked on here.
